It's easier now than ever to keep in touch with friends and family no matter where they live on the globe. Join Lizann for an introduction to email, Facebook, Skype, Google+, and Twitter. Includes help signing up to use one or more if you want to.

Bring your own laptop or wireless device if you have one, or use a library computer. Recommended that participants have basic computer skills.

Dreaming Drama Summer Theatre Camp


Starts August 12
Ages 8 to 18
9am to 3:30pm Daily Mon-Fri
A two week session for $300.00 early bird rate or $330 late registration

Theatre camp in Baysville! This camp will be filled with all the different aspects of creating a dramatic production. Campers will be involved in acting, props, costumes, and set design. All of this will lead up to a final performance. Campers can also look forward to swimming, drama games, a barbecue, and meeting tons of new people. Contact the library or Rachael Doll for more information.

Drama Theatre Camp will be lead by Rachael Doll, a graduate with a BA in Drama, Psychology, and English. She's been part of many productions both performing and working behind the scenes as director, stage manager, and costume designer. Rachael has been working with children and youth during the summer for seven years.

This year's gala dinner with live and silent auctions will be glitzed up in Hollywood style. Dinner catered by executive chef David Friesen from Riverwalk Restaurant in Bracebridge with your choice of either beef or salmon entree delivered to your table. Come dressed as your favourite Hollywood star or in Hollywood glam if you'd like to.

Tickets $50 each. Exciting new items will be in the silent and live auctions. Stop by the library to get your tickets before they're all gone!

Red Carpet at 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Dinner at 6:30pm, Baysville Community Centre (same building as the library)
