Once again this year the Friends of the Baysville Library is holding a raffle for a beautiful quilt. The proceeds will support the programs at the Baysville Library.
This year's quilt is a barn raising quilt--it's reversible! One side features beautiful earth tones perfect for fall/winter and the other side is a cheerful mix of spring/summer colors. The quilt was created for you by:
Stella Neilson, Jean McIvor, Edith Cook, Paula Elliott, Barbara Ruttle, Carol Cragg, Judy Geller, Tina Bax, Kim Redwood, Jean MacInnis, Caroline Konarzewski, Dorothy Stoddart, Janice Pearson, and Margaret Stroud.
Tickets are 3 for $5.00 or $2.00 each. We have them for sale at the library, and watch for the Friends booth at community events throughout the summer.
This year the draw for the winner will be held on September 22, 2012 at the Library during a special Art Reception. The reception will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00pm where you can mingle with Lake of Bays artists, hear readings from the Baysville Writer's Circle, and enjoy refreshments. The quilt draw will take place about 4:00pm. We hope you'll join us!
Thank you for supporting the library programs with your ticket purchase.
