Lake of Bays Road Race Looking for Volunteers

Message from the Lake of Bays Road Race:

If you could volunteer to help us with the Lake of Bays Ontario Cup Road Race on Sunday, May 12th at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, the base and location of the start/finish. This race will follow the same course as the Muskoka Half Iron Man which is a route around the Lake of Bays south-east of Huntsville. The Lake of Bays race will consist of a two wave event with the first wave of riders in the morning and the second in the afternoon.

We will need help in the following areas:
  • Intersections  control/road marshal teamed up with police
  • Registration
  • Feed zone
All volunteers will receive a t-shirt (see below), toque, lunch and refreshments. It would likely be best if volunteers could arrange for transportation to their placement around the course, especially the road marshals, given the length of the lap around Lake of Bays.

The website for the race can be found at www.lakeofbaysroadrace.com which contains maps, start times, etc.

Volunteers are welcome to contact Leo at email address sachaleo @ sympatico.ca (no spaces) or telephone numbers he’s available on are 416-847-3870 (work) or 416-624-9424 (cell)

Hope you can help.
